Family and friends of Cohen Meyer are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund a special handicap accessible vehicle. Cohen has chosen HHL in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.HELP Cohen make his own “Pathway” and travel without limitations!Imagine what it would be like to be “homebound” without mobility. Cohen is a young man who lives a productive life despite his Cerebral Palsy Diagnosis leaving him in a wheelchair with many medical health conditions. His disability comes with a lot of baggage, making mobility impossible at times. Does the destination allow him to bathe, toilette, sleep, prepare medications, and meals? Does it have enough outlets to keep life saving equipment running? How much time does it take to get there and back and how long can he stay before needing medical and personal care? Now Imagine there is a vehicle that can solve this lifestyle crisis and it is called The Pathway! It is a very special handicap accessible van for a very special guy. He makes being a friend look easy, his strength and courage to enjoy life through his medical condition inspires his community, and his charm is really something special.HOPE is what we have to provide this life changing gift through fundraising. Donations will fund the Dodge Ram Pathway Van that is designed for wheelchair accessible travel and caters to Cohen’s medical needs. It allows storage for all of his medical equipment and supplies. It has an overhead lift and trolley system for transport to the shower, toilet, bed, and wheelchair all inside the vehicle.
