Hello, my name is Carolyn
I am reaching out to you today because I will soon be undergoing a double lung transplant. At 57 years old, this procedure is my best hope for a healthier, fuller life.
In January of 2024, I was diagnosed with Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD), specifically Pulmonary Fibrosis. This condition causes scarring of the lungs, making it incredibly difficult to breathe and affecting my daily life in profound ways. It’s been a challenging journey with countless hospital visits, treatments, and moments of uncertainty. Despite these struggles, I’ve always tried to maintain a positive outlook and a fighting spirit.
As you can imagine, a double lung transplant is not only a major medical procedure but also a significant financial burden. The costs associated with the surgery, post-operative care, medication, and ongoing treatments are overwhelming. I am seeking to raise $20,000 to cover these expenses and ensure that I can focus on my recovery without the added stress of financial worries.
With your support, I look forward to a future where I can breathe easily again, engage in everyday activities without pain, and spend quality time with my loved ones. My spiritual journey is deeply important to me, and I have dedicated myself to evangelizing through community events, fundraisers, feeding the homeless, and other outreach networks. One of my greatest joys is participating in outreach events with the Prayer and Hope ministry, where I share hope and inspiration through prayer and spiritual dancing. Additionally, I am passionate about empowering women and men on this journey called “Life,” helping them find strength and purpose through my ministry. This transplant is not just a medical procedure; it is a chance at a new life, filled with opportunities to continue serving and glorifying God through my work and passion.
Please consider donating to Help Hope Live in my honor and share my story with on your social media network. Your generosity will make an enormous difference in my life and help me achieve a healthier, brighter future.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
Carolyn P. Oppong
My family and friends are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Transplant.
I chose to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.
Thank you for your support!
