Sabeerah is a DJ, disability advocate, and event producer who uses her platform to amplify disabled BIPOC voices and create more inclusive cultural spaces. Whether she’s performing at a music festival or leading accessibility programs, mobility is key to showing up fully — and safely — in all areas of her life.
Unfortunately, replacing this scooter attachment costs $3,500 and is not covered by insurance.
This campaign is a call for urgent support. With your help, we can replace what was taken and restore Sabeerah’s ability to move freely and independently. Every donation, no matter the size, brings her closer to getting back on the move.
Please consider donating or sharing this page — and thank you for helping Sabeerah stay mobile, safe, and connected to her purpose.
This past weekend in Orange County, Sabeerah’s essential scooter attachment was stolen. The device, which connects to her wheelchair and provides powered mobility, was a vital part of her independence — helping her navigate outdoor spaces, travel long distances, and stay active in her community.
Hey everyone, just a quick update. We've pretty almost met goal!! First, I just want to the time to thank each and every one of you for your love and support. The situation has taught me a huge lesson in being more aware of my surroundings and diligent when it comes to my own devices and equipment's security. This has also taught me a huge lesson in embracing community and being embraced.I love y'all so much!

Disheartened to hear that someone would STEAL A SCOOTER ATTACHMENT FOR A WHEELCHAIR but actions speak louder than words and I definitely hope mercury being in retrograde hits them 1000000-fold. Regardless, Sabeerah know you are loved by so many people and your community is here to support <3
