Welcome to the non-profit fundraising site organized by the family and friends of Donnie Moss! We are raising money via the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Donnie’s kidney transplant. Donations through Help Hope Live are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.
Donnie is currently active on the national kidney transplant list. He is currently asking for a living donor as the wait time for a deceased donor is 5-7 years. Donnie is currently not on dialysis, but is praying that a living donor can be found before that is needed. Donnie is 41 years old, husband of 19 years to Erin, and father to Tori (11) and Charles (7).
If you would like to be considered as a potential donor, please visit this link! My birthdate is August 24, 1983 (needed for prescreen form). Your prayers will be greatly appreciated.
Great news! I successfully received my transplant on June 4th. I have been discharged from the hospital and recovering locally. I still have follow up appointments to monitor the health of the kidney. All numbers are looking great. Thank you to all who have contributed to our fundraiser!
Good Day Family and Friends. We're under two weeks now until my transplant surgery! I wanted to send out a post to say "Thank you" to all who have provided support to our family. Ya'll have met and exceeded our fundraising goal with HelpHopeLive. My family and I are humbled and grateful for the outpouring of love shown. The link is still active if you wanted to give, but had not had the chance yet. Looking forward to sharing the good news of a successful surgery! God Bless!
Hello friends and family. My surgery has been scheduled for June 4th. We would appreciate your prayers as we continue to prepare for the big day. Thank you!
Hello friends! On 4/8, I received the incredible news that I have been matched with an approved live donor! The gracious donor has requested to remain anonymous and wants all the praise to point to God. We are still working on coordinating dates with UAB but it looks to be happening sometime this summer. Please keep us all in your prayers. God is amazing!
