**Solidarity and Support for a Second Chance at Life** - Help Hope Live for Anoop Krishnan’s Liver Transplant!

Family and friends of Anoop Krishnan are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Transplant. Anoop has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax-deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.

Campaign Update: A New Chapter of Hope and HealingDear friends,Ten months ago, on January 6, 2025, I received the gift of life—a living liver transplant at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Denver, Colorado, part of UCHealth. My wife, Anupama, became my donor, my miracle, and my anchor. That day marked not just a medical milestone but the beginning of a long, humbling, and grace-filled journey of recovery. The months that followed were filled with physical therapy, medication, and moments of both pain and progress. I learned to walk again. I learned to breathe deeply again. I learned to hope again. In June, we made the difficult but necessary decision to relocate to Texas. The warmer climate was essential for my liver and lung function, and we hoped it would also offer a more affordable path forward. We settled in the Dallas area—grateful for a roof over our heads, but still navigating the challenges of post-transplant life, unemployment, losing health insurance and no stable income. We’ve faced many hurdles: accessing anti-rejection medications, affording lab work, and staying afloat while both of us remained unemployed. There were days when we stretched every dollar to cover rent, car payments, and groceries. But through it all, we held onto faith. We held onto each other. And we held onto the belief that this second chance was not given in vain. Now, as I approach the one-year mark since my transplant, I’m stepping into a new chapter: returning to the workforce. I’m actively seeking opportunities in the Dallas area—ready to contribute, to serve, and to rebuild. My background spans 13 years of business and technology program management in the financial services industry, over 26 years of Christian missions to the unreached, education, and community development, as well as over 2 years of experience in airport operations and customer service in the aviation industry. I bring not just experience, but renewed clarity, empathy, and purpose. This update is not just about me—it’s about the power of community, the miracle of living organ donation, and the resilience of the human spirit. If you’ve supported us before, thank you. Your kindness helped carry us through the darkest valleys. If you’re just joining our journey, welcome. We still need your prayers, your encouragement, and your help in sharing this story. Please continue to spread the word. If you know of job opportunities, community resources, or simply want to connect, I’d love to hear from you.Thank you for walking with us. We’re still here. Still healing. Still hoping. And still believing in second chances. With deep gratitude, Anoop Krishnan

Thanks everyone for your prayers, thoughts and contribution to Anoop’s liver transplant. Here is a quick update on Anoop and Anupama.Anupama donated 55% of her liver to Anoop. She was discharged and is on the path of recovery.Anoop is still in hospital and he had few complication this week. There is excessive and faster blood flow to the new liver and risks associated with it, so the transplant team are not allowing or giving him any solid foods or clears water. Transplant team put A PICC line, a minimal invasive procedure or peripherally inserted central catheter, is a thin, flexible tube that's inserted into a vein in the arm and threaded up to the superior vena cava in the chest to give medicine to lower blood flow to new liver. This complication will increase his medical bills and hospital stays much longer. Please pray for him. Please continue to pray and contribute if you can!
