Help Marlin Stay Mobile and Independent with a Wheelchair-Accessible Van!
Marlin, a 65-year-old Philadelphia native, has spent his life serving others with six years in the military, years raising his children as a devoted father, and a lifetime of giving back to his community. Whether it’s offering a ride to someone in need, sharing his deep love of history and jazz, or bringing joy with his quick wit and selfless heart, Marlin has always been a light to those around him.
But now, Marlin needs our help.
Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in 2000, Marlin underwent amputation in 2005 and, for years, has relied on crutches to stay mobile. Despite his strength and determination, aging has brought new challenges, balance issues, phantom pains, back pain, and the increasing difficulty of walking long distances. While he has adapted for years, a wheelchair-accessible vehicle is now essential for maintaining his independence, quality of life, and ability to continue giving back.
A new accessible vehicle costs between $65,000 and $100,000 a steep price, but one that would change Marlin’s life in countless ways:
Marlin has never been one to ask for help, but he has spent a lifetime helping others, now it’s our turn to give back. Every donation, no matter the size, gets him closer to the freedom and mobility he deserves.
If you can’t donate, please share Marlin’s story, your support means the world. Let’s get Marlin back on the road to independence!
Donate today to help Marlin roll forward!
