Mia is a 6 year old girl living in Western NC with her family. She was born with a condition known as Semilobar Holoprosencephaly and a spine that needed to be repaired through multiple spinal surgeries.
Mia’s favorite things are Disney movies, musicals and playing with her dolls. She loves playing with her cousins and any chance she gets to play in the grass or on the swing set.
Due to her diagnosis, she is globally delayed and relies on a wheelchair to get around. As she gets older, the space needed to meet these needs increases. We have tried to fit her and all of her equipment into our family car, but our current vehicle just doesn’t have room for everything. Mia is fundraising for the acquisition of a handicap accessible vehicle that will allow the family the ability to transport Mia to doctor’s appointments, physical and speech therapy, and school.
Please donate to Help Hope Live in Mia’s honor today, and ask your friends and family to give too. Mia has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses. We would love to plan some fundraisers for Mia as well, so if you can help with that, please contact us at [email protected].
Thank you for your generous support!
