Family and friends of Silvia McGill are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund a wheelchair accessible van due to a catastrophic illness³. Silvia has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.
Silvia is a 52 year old woman who loves the outdoors. She makes pottery out of dry clay and weaves table runners. She makes the best out of the inability to walk and also loves to sing.
Silvia has lived with Multiple Sclerosis since 1997. The disease has made her mobility increasingly difficult over time and it has severely limited her able to go. Since 2012, she has been unable to walk and it has made accessing vehicles and important doctors appointments nearly impossible. She is in critical need of a wheelchair accessible van as she has missed many important doctors appointments because of a lack of transportation. Obtaining a wheelchair accessible van is of utmost importance to her as it would enable her to have greater independence and to ensure her to make it to all of her important doctors appointments without the worry of how she will be able to get there. She would greatly appreciate any assistance in helping her reach her goal of obtaining a wheelchair accessible van as it would allow her to have a better quality of life.
Silvia would appreciate any donations you are able to make in order to accomplish her goal of purchasing a wheelchair accessible van from Medical Mobility.
