Dianne is a wife, mother and grandmother who dedicates her life to her family and to God. A devout Catholic, she is a true servant of God, she cultivates a place for peace and love and leaves an everlasting impression on those she comes into acquaintance with. Dianne is one of those individuals who is always there to help others in time of need. This is both evident in her personal life and in her work at the church.
Dianne’s favorite bible scripture, one of many is from the book of Numbers: “The Lord bless you and keep you, The Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; The Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace”
She loves her family and is always doing special gesture to bring joy to her husband, son, daughters, and grandchildren. During Christmas she is the gift wrapping queen and Dianne is the first person to get the room engaged in Christmas caroling. You can always count on a text of a blessing from Dianne that brings you a sense of joy sometimes when you need it most.
In recent months Cirrhosis of the liver stage 4 has complicated life. Dianne’s journey back to health starts with a liver transplant. In addition to having her liver transplant, she also had a heart stint procedure as well as a procedure to help with an artery aneurysm. These procedures require alot of care and there are many factors involved to maintaining her daily life tasks. Her loving husband, Andrew, has taken lead to ensure both Dianne and himself are cared for. The tasks of life that were once simple now seem difficult as exhaustion has taken over. As one can imagine, caring for a loved one while watching them fight for their life is an emotional roller coaster. This campaign will help alleviate some of the financial stress and bring hope to Dianne on her journey to health. Funds will assist with medical expenses not covered by insurance during her long hospital stay and in the coming months any medical necessities.
Family and friends of Dianne Gongora are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Transplant. Dianne has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses. We appreciate your generosity and support please also help us get out Dianne’s story by sharing this campaign, no donation is too small.
Together we can all bring HOPE to Dianne as her journey to LIVE continues.
2/25/2025 Thank you for your support it is very much appreciated. Dianne has made some progress the past few days. She had to undergo an unexpected emergency surgery for an artery aneurysm. To date, she is making progress and has recently been moved from the cardiology ICU to the liver ICU where her medical team can continue to access and determine the path for her transplant recovery. Thank you for all the continued prayers for Dianne and Andrew as he has had to process a lot of information and also navigate this journey alongside Dianne.
