Dear Family and Friends:
Many of you know my loving husband Mark Melancon. We have 3 beautiful daughters Desi (20), Tatiana (17), and Klara (11). For the past 21 years, Mark has been living with Lupus which is a chronic inflammatory disease that affects multiple organs and systems of the body.

In the last 3 years Mark’s kidneys have deteriorated rapidly. As a result of his deteriorating health he is undergoing dialysis 3 days every week. Due to additional complications from the dialysis, Mark has had 5 surgeries in the past year, and is currently on disabiity due to medical complications. His doctors at Tampa General Hospital have told us that his only option now is a life-saving kidney transplant. This has placed a tremendous emotional and financial strain on our family and is greatly affecting his health.

An update on Mark!! Mark received his kidney transplant March 2014 and is doing very well! The post transplant medications will be fairly expensive over this next six month period. All donations are greatly appreciated!
