๐ANGELO WAS IN THE NEWS๐
We are excited to share that Angelo received an adaptive bike yesterday, generously donated by the Philadelphia Flyers Alumni Association.
For many children, riding a bike is simply part of growing up. For Angelo, it represents so much more. It is an opportunity to build strength, gain confidence, experience greater independence, and create special memories with the people who love him most. Seeing the joy on his face as he experienced this new freedom was a moment our family will never forget.
We are incredibly grateful to the Philadelphia Flyers Alumni Association for this thoughtful gift and for helping make this dream a reality for Angelo.
While we are celebrating this wonderful milestone, Angelo’s journey continues. His campaign remains open as we continue raising funds for the needs he has today and the ones that will arise as he grows. As many families of children with medical complexities know, insurance does not always cover everything a child may need to thrive.
In the coming months, Angelo is scheduled to undergo a significant hip surgery. This important procedure will be followed by weeks to months of therapies and frequent trips back and forth to the hospital for Angelo and our family. Support through Angelo’s campaign helps ease the burden of expenses related to the many things insurance may not cover, allowing us to focus on what matters most: helping Angelo heal, grow stronger, and continue reaching his full potential.
If you feel moved to support Angelo’s journey, whether through a donation, sharing his campaign, or simply keeping him in your thoughts and prayers, please know how much it means to our family. Every act of kindness helps create opportunities and provide resources that allow Angelo to continue doing what he does best: inspiring everyone around him with his resilience, determination, and joy.
Thank you for celebrating the victories with us and standing beside us through every step of this journey. We are endlessly grateful for this village that loves our sweet boy so well.
With gratitude,
Pop-Pop, GiGi, Angelo and his entire family ๐
Angelo’s Story
Meet Angelo, our brave, funny, and incredibly strong 7 year old grandson with the biggest heart and the brightest smile. A die hard Phillies fan, Angelo loves football, books, and making people laugh in his own unique way. He has a way of lighting up every room he enters, and anyone who meets him quickly sees just how special he is.
Angelo was born prematurely and has been a fighter since day one. He lives with cerebral palsy, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, and other complex medical needs that make everyday activities more challenging. He uses a wheelchair for mobility and is nonverbal, but he has an amazing ability to communicate joy, love, and personality without words. Eating is still a work in progress. He has a feeding tube but continues to work hard in therapy as he explores new foods.
Despite the obstacles he faces, Angelo is just like any other child. He wants to play, explore, learn, and be included in the world around him. Doing those things often requires specialized equipment, adaptive supports, and ongoing therapies that are not always covered by insurance.
This campaign helps support Angeloโs evolving needs such as adaptive equipment, therapy tools, mobility supports, recovery needs, or future modifications that allow him to grow more independent and comfortable in daily life. As Angelo grows, so do his needs, and having the flexibility to meet those needs when they arise makes a meaningful difference.
Your support helps Angelo experience the simple joys of childhood including connection, play, and inclusion. Every contribution or share helps us continue building a world where he can thrive.
Thank you for loving Angelo and being part of his journey. ๐

It's been a little while since our last update on Angelo, and we wanted to share how he's doing.Earlier this year, there was a change to Angelo's medical plan. The larger procedure that was originally being discussed was postponed, and instead he underwent a smaller procedure in April to help prepare him for the bigger surgery that is expected in the coming months. While we know there is still a challenging road ahead, we are grateful for the amazing team helping guide his care every step of the way.In true Angelo fashion, he continues to amaze us. At 7 years old, he is growing into such a smart, energetic, loving little boy with more determination than most adults. He tackles every challenge with courage and a smile, and he continues to remind us daily what resilience looks like. Whether he's cheering for the Phillies, enjoying a good book, or making everyone around him laugh, Angelo's personality shines brighter than ever.Thank you to everyone who continues to support, pray for, encourage, and love our sweet boy. We are so grateful for our village and look forward to sharing more updates as Angelo continues on his journey ๐
Many of you know and love our grandson Angelo and the incredible strength and joy he brings to our family every day. He has been a fighter since birth, and now at 7 years old he continues to amaze us with his determination, his huge smile, and his love of the Phillies, football, and making people laugh. In the coming months, Angelo will be having major hip surgery to help reduce pain and protect his mobility long term. His recovery will involve frequent hospital visits, specialized equipment, and extra supports that are not always covered by insurance. We are sharing his page for anyone who would like to follow his journey or lend support as he prepares for surgery and recovery. We are so thankful for the love, prayers, and encouragement surrounding him. ๐
