Tim is a loving husband who adores his wife Sarah and has been blessed in life with 2 beautiful Daughters Tanis and Makaya , that he would do absolutely anything for . Almost 4 years ago he welcomed his first grandchild and then the following year was just over the moon when he found out that he was going to be meeting his second grandchild very soon . Those 2 boys are definitely a motivation for him ! And Tim just lights up every time anyone speaks of Brooks and Bo . To be so hopeful of all the memories Tim will be able to make with his grandsons if he can get a Transplant and get his life back and his energy , as he is just exhausted everyday. Those cute little boys give him the motivation to keep moving forward and get better so he can be here with us to make so many more memories.
For the last 4 years, Tim has been sick with Renal Disease and all of a sudden in 2022 the remaining Kidney Function he did still have, started dropping pretty rapidly which resulted in being in “End Stage Renal Disease .” Tim has been working with a transplant team for 3 years now and has been active on the National UNOS list for 2.
Tim’s favorite thing to do these days is spend as much time with his family making memories and get out on the Local Golf Courses when he’s feeling physically up to it. Golf is something he loved to do with his son-in -law Brady and a group of friends every weekend, but unfortunately his diagnosis and Dialysis treatments 3 days a week has hindered his ability to continue his hobby.
Tim started working for UPS in 1995 until he was forced to Medically Retire at the end of 2022 because his body said it was time to start Dialysis. Tim made so many friends along his way through his career that he will always cherish and think about.
Tim had no choice but to stop working so he could get the treatment he needed, which was Dialysis . Tim has had quite the journey since starting Dialysis. He started Dialysis in January of 2023 , choosing to do Dialysis in the comfort in his own home . Due to complications , about 6 months later he had to switch to In-Center Hemo Dialysis and is still currently a dedicated patient going to Dialysis 3 days a week , 4 hours a day , fighting to stay here with his family in hopes to one day be blessed with a transplant so he can make even more memories making sure he is here for all of Life’s Important Events still to come ! Since starting Dialysis he has had to face a lot of challenges but he has faced them head-on and got through every challenge he’s had to encounter . We’re all very hopeful that one day Tim can get back to feeling like himself again and start doing all those things he loves to do . He deserves to make so many more memories in his life journey . No matter what he has faced through his journey , he has always had a positive attitude .
As you can see, it’s been a journey but he’s always had hope that one day it’ll all change and just be a part of his life journey he overcame.
Another Challenge coming his way is Financial Challenges .
Tim’s Transplant team is located almost 6 hours away which means he will be required to relocate for a min of 6-8 weeks if no rejection or complications of any sort. With this, there will be some financial challenges.
This is the part where you can help Tim and his family.
We are fundraising for the cost of relocating closer to his transplant center which will be a min of 6-8 weeks. After this he will be traveling back and forth for a while for continued follow-up appointments . we are also fundraising for all of the medical costs and related expenses that Tim’s insurance will not pay for. If he is blessed to have a living donor, he would love to also help with living donor expenses.
Tim hopes that his kidney transplant will be the next chapter of his life . Getting back to all of the things he loves to do and all the places he loves to travel to . He was able to walk one of his girls down the aisle and prays he will still be here with us when his other daughter gets married . He can’t wait to watch his grandchildren and future grandchildren grow up and play sports and watch them get married and have families of their own.
Please donate to the Non-Profit Help Hope Live in Tim’s honor today, and ask your friends and family to help too ! Donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.
We would love to plan some fundraisers in Tim’s honor too, so if you can help with that , please contact his wife Sarah at [email protected] .
Thank you for your generous support !
Update !WE JUST FOUND OUT THE BEST NEWS TODAY !Tim’s oldest daughter Tanis has been going through tests and evaluations in hopes to donate one of her Kidneys to her Daddy !It’s Official…….. She is the perfect match for her Daddy and today she was given the news that she has been praying for ! She has been given the green light to be able to help her daddy in a way she didn’t know if it would even be possible . This has been a long journey for Tim and his family and finally we have a date of April 23rd that this page will finally be turning and a new chapter beginning .This leaves Tim and his family less than a month to get everything in order and also having less than one month to try and fundraise to help with Transplant Costs as well as costs related to Transplant and relocating , as well as continued post-Transplant recovery back home .They will be faced with Financial challenges for Months to come but are determined . They truely believe everything happens for a reason .If you could find it in your hearts and keep all of the prayers going and share Tim’s HelpHopeLive Campaign with all of your friends and let’s see if we can get some help for Tim and his family
