For anyone who is reading this, as you may know, my name is Julian Hernandez. I did not expect to need a new heart so early in my life. I’ve always had heart issues from the day I was born, but I never let that stop me from achieving the things I wanted.
Anyone who knows me knows the big dreams that I have. I never let this get in the way of anything. I played sports, I love to work out, and I’ve always tried to maintain my body as a temple. But nothing made me happier than simply having the strength every day to get out of bed, spend time with my friends and family, and create great moments together. Every day was truly a blessing.
My son, Jiovanni, who is 9 years old is who I think of when getting this heart transplant. I have been strong, not only for me but for him. I just want to be to able to show him dad is here for him no matter what.. his smile makes me feel like I already do have a new heart… and I would love to continue to see him smile for the rest of my life…
Now, it has come to the time where I need a heart transplant. I know this is part of God‘s plan and what He has next in store for me. I still have a story to tell. I still have more lives to impact, more smiles to give, and more laughter to share and receive.
If you’ve read this far, I want you to know I appreciate you. I know everyone is going through their own hardships, and I don’t like asking for much. If you are able to make any donation to help, I would be forever grateful. But please know that if you cannot, I completely understand—I know what it feels like to want to give and not be able to. Life is hard. If you can’t donate, I simply ask that you share my story.
I pray I can get out of here soon with the new and perfect heart God provides. I have no doubt that He will. Thank you for supporting me in any small way that you can. God bless you. I cannot wait to return to the world and see everyone’s faces again.
It’s been one month here in the hospital, and I don’t know how much longer I’ll remain. But please know that I am in good spirits. God has always provided, and I have faith He always will—no matter the outcome.
Thank you. ❤️
God is with you brother, your work isnt done yet.

You’ve always had too much love to give for your heart so I hope they get you a strong one that can handle it. Love you brother and the world loves you too.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. The Lord is your rock and your fortress and your deliverer. (Psalms 18:2 NKJV)

There is mourning at night but joy comes in the morning. It’s not easy going through a journey not knowing the future but I know you have a Heavenly Father that cares for you. Do not let the dark days/times consume you but the peace of God which is Christ. God bless you and it’s not over for you.

To My Nephew,
I want you to know how proud I am of you. Life has given you a challenge that most people couldn’t even imagine, but you’re facing it with a courage that inspires everyone around you—including me.
The waiting isn’t easy, but remember this: every single day you hold on, you’re one step closer to your new heart and a brand-new life. A life where you’ll breathe easier, laugh louder, and chase every dream that’s waiting for you.
No matter how long this road feels, you’re never walking it alone. Our whole family, your friends, and countless people you may not even know are standing behind you, praying, supporting, and believing in you.
Stay strong, stay hopeful, and never forget—you are destined for more life, more love, and more moments than you can even imagine right now. And I’ll be right here with you every step of the way.
With all my love and faith in you,
Uncle Frank
