Patricia Grijalva (Pat) is a 49-year-old hardworking, selfless, and loving mother, wife, daughter, family member, and friend. She has spent her life caring for others, working hard, and doing all she can to provide her daughter with the opportunities to make her dreams come true. When Patricia isn’t working hard, she loves spending time with family and friends, making people laugh to brighten their day, and attending Sunday mass. For most of her life, Patricia has lived with type 2 diabetes, which has led her to develop chronic kidney disease. Despite her determination and resilience, unfortunately, her health has declined, and now it has become harder for her to continue living her life the way she used to due to pain and fatigue. A kidney transplant is now her best chance of living a healthier, fuller, and longer life.
The cost of doctor visits, surgery, lifelong medications, and travel is overwhelming even with medical insurance. This is where her family, friends, and community can help her and make a difference in her accessibility to the care she needs. By donating, sharing her story, offering her encouragement, and keeping her in your prayers, you can help ease the heavy financial burden and give Patricia hope for a brighter and longer future spent with her loved ones.
Please donate to Help Hope Live in Patricia’s honor today, and share her story with your friends and family. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a lasting impact and helps Patricia get the lifesaving transplant she needs. Family and Friends of Patricia Grijalva are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a kidney transplant surgery. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your generosity, prayers, and support!

Ms. Patty has been a mentor, a mother and a friend to so many. Her sacrifices are countless and truly inspiring. From working overnight shifts to throwing birthday parties, she’s been a pillar in her community and a mother figure to many. Most of all, she stood by her only daughter Victoria, supporting her through high school and college and helping her become the first in their family to graduate.
Kahlil Gibran said, “It is when you give of yourself that you truly give.” Any amount of money can’t compare to the love and value Ms. Patty has poured into the lives of others. I hope that by reading this you’ll feel moved to give back to her just as she’s given so much to us.
