Pulling for Hayden

Hayden Ware, a sweet and bright 15 year old girl, was in a tragic accident on March 14, 2025. Hayden is a student of Quincy Notre Dame High School and a member of the Choir and Trap Team there. She is a member of St Peter Church, and a member of the Quincy Quivering Clays Traveling Trap Team.  Hayden and one of her best friends, were out working hard on that spring day since they were out of school for Spring Break. They had worked the day before and were so proud of themselves for the money they were making. This was physical labor too, they were working outside, cleaning up a property.

She received an anoxic brain injury and is working on her rehab journey to get home. She has had quite a journey so far and is still not truly awake to enjoy life.

Hayden got home December 29, just after Christmas. We have all been settling in well. Hayden is doing good. She has had visitors about every day. Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy have been set up to come twice a week. A nurse comes to check on her a couple of times a week as well. We also have a family friend who comes out to the house three times a week to work with Hayden. This helps out so much. While planning to leave the hospital to come home, we were told we would have 24hour nursing care for Hayden. The Friday evening before we left on Monday, the nursing agency informed us we would not receive any home nursing care due to our insurance would not pay for any. So Mom and Dad have been taking care of her ourselves day and night. She is settling in well and we are happy to be home for a while. Hayden's journey is definitely not over. We are taking a short break with her at home and will move on to the next step as time allows.

12.17.25We want to Thank everyone who has taken the time to pray and support Hayden in any way. We have been living in hospitals and rehab facilities for the last nine months now and are preparing for a new journey for her. Since November 21, we have been back at St Louis Children’s Hospital with her. She had been throwing up a lot when we arrived and we have since been able to get that under control. It always seems like she can have a good few days or so and then something else begins. At this time she is sweating a lot and we are not sure of the cause, but are working with the doctors to figure it out. We have found a doctor in who is willing to do Stem Cell Therapy. This will be a complete "Out of Pocket" cost for us. And of course, we have to travel across the country again. So, we are reaching out to anyone who may be willing to help with the cost in helping to get our Baby Girl back. All donations to this campaign are 100% tax deductible. You will be making your donation to ' Help Hope Live ' in honor of Hayden. These funds will be used for Medical Care Expenses, Travel Expenses, Medical Supplies, and Nursing Care for Hayden. We do not know at this time how long the stay will be to complete the Stem Cell Therapy, but we are looking to get her additional rehabilitation therapy as well while there. The rehabilitation stay may also be "Out of Pocket' as we are having a hard time getting insurance to pay for this as well. Again, Thank You to everyone who has followed, prayed, and supported in any way. We feel so Blessed to have such wonderful people following our Baby Girl’s journey.
