Family and friends of Richard Graham are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Transplant and colorectal surgeries. Richard has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.
Richard has an autoimmune disease called Primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) a chronic liver disease where the bile ducts become inflamed and scarred, leading to bile buildup and liver damage. He is in acute liver failure and is currently on the liver transplant list. He also has ulcerative colitis, valley fever, and precancer cells in his colon. Due to the precancer, he will need to have his colon removed after he has healed from the liver transplant. This will require 3 additional surgeries over a 6 month time period.
Help Hope Live provides a fundraising platform that can be used to pay for medical and related expenses that can help Richard and his family through this challenging time. This will help them stay afloat and be able to cover expenses, especially during times where Richard won’t be able to work.
Thank you for all of your love and support.
Richard received his liver transplant on 3/23/26. He is recovering well so far. Thank you all for your continued support!
Richard is still on the Liver Transplant waiting list. We are all hoping he will get the call soon. His medical team is keeping him stable and he is trying to keep things as normal as possible. Richard is amazing and is still working full time and helping out around the house.Richard and his family would like to thank everyone for their love and support and the generous donations that have come in so far. Thank you!
