Help Hope Live for Tristin Palardy

Tristin is the beating heart of his family.  He is known by all for his unmatched kindness and caring, always putting others before himself. He is quirky and unique, with a passion for reptiles (especially frogs). Whether it’s trying his hand at sewing, crafting, or fishing on his beloved mini tugboat, Chugger, Tristin’s zest for life is infectious. He is the head chef for every holiday and is always looking to take in those with nowhere to go. Tristin has a quiet strength that leaves everyone around him inspired.

Five years ago, while others were adapting to life with COVID, Tristin faced a life-altering challenge when he went into heart failure. After a family trip to Hawaii, he became ill, and when he did not improve, he went to the ER. Doctors quickly discovered his heart function had plummeted to just 7%. A genetic mutation was diagnosed, foreshadowing his need for a heart transplant. Alone in the hospital during strict COVID protocols, Tristin’s strength and resilience shone through. As always, he focused on others and how they were doing with the news. After being stabilized through medication and a BiVAD, he returned home to live until a transplant became necessary.
