Help Pam Overpower Parkison’s
Pam is a devoted mother of four, wife, daughter, sister and true friend to many.
Vivacious and high-energy, she’s the epitome of Southern Hospitality, always welcoming others into her life.
For 30 years she worked as a rehabilitation therapist, specializing in neurologic dysfunction, compassionately helping clients face their medical challenges with courage.
In 2015, everything shifted. Her life’s work became her personal crisis as she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s, a progressively debilitating neurologic disease.
This condition is defined by sudden “on” and “off periods.” When she’s feeling “off” her body becomes rigid, movement is labored and exhausting, and stiffness & tremors impair coordination.
Remarkably, Pam continued in her profession until 2023, when she was no longer able to work which resulted in loss of her comprehensive health insurance.
Because of her Parkinson’s diagnosis, obtaining quality private coverage was financially impossible. Now, with a Marketplace plan with very high deductible and no savings left after an unexpected medical emergency, she is left facing the entire $28,000 cost for five days of intensive outpatient brain regeneration treatments alone—care that could help her reclaim her life.
Her current insurance excludes this specialized care, and without funding, these treatments are out of reach.
It’s been a difficult road recently, as Pam’s off periods are becoming more frequent. She has been unable to manage those episodes resulting in her having to cancel plans, leave events early often, and miss the things she loves most. These things included dancing at her son’s wedding, being able to participate consistently in her exercise classes and group activities at church. She often feels wiped out, but she is not without hope.
As traditional medications and treatments for Parkinson’s have lost effectiveness, she has further researched and explored holistic therapies to heal her body and brain. She has been a prayer warrior through it all and is confident that her health will be restored.
She was referred to Dr. Greg Eckel, ND, a leading specialist in cutting-edge treatments helping people stop, slow, and even reverse symptoms of Parkinson’s, published in clinical papers. He feels she is an excellent candidate for his treatment approach.
Please help us reach our fundraising goal of $28,000! This amount will fully pay all Pam’s medical costs for five days of her Brain Regeneration Stay at Dr. Eckel’s facility, including his groundbreaking approach with stem cell therapy.
Will you help Pam halt the progression of Parkinson’s?
Now is the window of opportunity to stop her symptoms from getting worse.
Pam’s the kind of friend who would do anything for you, at any time. This is her time of need.
Let’s surround her with kindness, compassion, prayers and generosity.
Would you consider making a donation by December 24, 2025 and giving Pam the gift of a better future?
A future with a good quality of life so she can dance at her daughters’ weddings, hold her future grandbabies, help others overcome this disease, and live life to the fullest – not limited by Parkinson’s.
Your donation is tax deductible and will only be used for medical expenses. Pam has partnered with Help Hope Live, a non-profit that specializes in fundraisers for people facing catastrophic illness. Your kindness can give Pam real, life-changing help!
Thank you for your most generous year-end gift.
I’ve been waiting years to tell this story. I spent 30 years as a Neuro Occupational Therapist, but for the last decade, I’ve been fighting my own private battle with Parkinson’s.Today, I’m stepping into the light to share what I’ve learned. My biggest wins in slowing this disease haven’t come from traditional "management," but from years of deep study into Eastern medicine, functional protocols, and restorative health. Now, I’m intentionally bridging the gap—bringing those resources together to pursue a truly comprehensive path. On January 25th, I’m headed to a 5-day brain regeneration program with Dr. Greg Eckel - this includes stem cell therapy to target my PD and the arthritis in my left knee.I’m doing this to reclaim my life— resume my career, enjoy life with kids to the fullest, travel with Robert- my husband & Forever Crush & continue Salsa dancing every chance I geta 💃🕺I’m documenting the science and the soul of this journey to show you what’s possible. Join me as I move forward.Support the mission here: https://youtube.com/shorts/KPw_LtcheVc?si=TcwuG5DaHk9pP1cz#ParkinsonsWarrior #NeuroOT #StemCellJourney #ScienceAndTheSoul #HopeLiveLove #RestorativeMedicine
I have to take a moment to brag about my son, Connor. As many of you know, I’ve been fighting my battle with Parkinson’s, and Connor has been working so hard to help me reach my goal for treatment. He’s pulled together something incredible at his workplace, Olive Garden. They’ve set up donation boxes and the entire staff is wearing ribbons for Parkinson’s awareness in my honor. The best part? Olive Garden is matching every single donation received 100%!If you’re looking for a place to eat, please go see Connor and the amazing team at Olive Garden. Every dollar you drop in that box becomes two dollars toward my $28,000 goal for stem cell therapy. I am so proud of my son and so grateful for this community. Let’s finish this year strong! 💚
Only $34 away from $5000! Thank you everyone!!! Stay tuned for a message from Pam later today!!

I have been juggling numerous doctor's appointments this past week & left on Thursday to visit my parents and extended family in Albemarle North Carolina. I am visiting until Monday and I’m taking advantage of every moment while I’m home. It is important to me send thank-you notes to everyone but I am behind at this time. If you haven't heard back from me yet, please know it is coming. Your support, your stories, and your kind words mean the world to me, and my lack of a quick response is absolutely not a lack of appreciation. I am reading everything, and I treasure every message. How You Can Still HelpThe momentum is great, but we still have a way to go! If you haven't had a chance to visit the campaign site or if you've been meaning to share it with your network, please consider doing so today.➡️ Read My Full Story & Share: Thank you again. I am so grateful to have you all on this journey. I'll share another update soon!Love,Pam
✨ Update & Heartfelt Thanks! ✨I am overwhelmed with gratitude. In just a few days since going live on November 26—and with the incredible support of Giving Tuesday—we have already raised $2,990 toward the $28,000 goal! My heart is so deeply touched by every single person who has reached out, donated, shared the campaign, or sent words of encouragement.I was especially moved when my three daughters shared the fundraiser on their Facebook and Instagram pages. Seeing their friends—many of whom watched them grow up—reach out to support them as much as they supported me brought me to tears. As a mom, there is no greater gift than knowing people are lifting up your children during a hard season. Thank you for loving them so well.To everyone who has contributed, shared, or simply held us in your thoughts and prayers: thank you. Your generosity has filled me with hope, strength, and renewed determination to keep fighting this disease with everything I have. I’m more motivated than ever to continue giving back, educating, and spreading hope to others on this same path. With so much love and gratitude, Pam
