When Ella entered this world, she wasn’t expected to survive. Doctors gave her less than a 1% chance of life after being deprived of oxygen at birth. She spent her first months alone in the NICU, abandoned by her birth parents — but God had a bigger plan. Through the miracle of foster care and adoption, Ella found her forever family and a love that would fight for her every step of the way.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude as we share a huge update on Ella’s journey.🩷Ella is now walking fully independently.For a child with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, this is nothing short of extraordinary. There was a time when we didn’t know if independent walking would ever be possible, and now we get to watch her take steps on her own every single day. Watching her gain confidence, strength, and independence has been one of the greatest gifts of our lives.She continues to amaze us with her determination, resilience, and joy. The progress she has made through countless hours of therapy, intensive programs, medical treatments, and pure hard work feels like a miracle unfolding right in front of us.At the same time, we know our journey is far from over. Ella still faces significant challenges, and we are continuing to pursue every opportunity that could help her reach her fullest potential. Her therapy intensives, stem cell treatments, specialized equipment, and medical care are not covered by insurance and often require extensive travel. The financial burden is overwhelming at times, and there is still so much uncertainty about what lies ahead.But even in the unknown, we remain incredibly hopeful. Ella’s life has been filled with miracle after miracle, and we believe there is still so much more ahead for her.To everyone who has donated, shared her story, prayed for her, encouraged us, and walked alongside our family, thank you. Your support is helping give Ella opportunities we could never provide on our own. 🌟 Life-Changing Progress for Ella! 🌟We are over halfway to our 2026 fundraising goal, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible support that has gotten us here. Thanks to YOU, Ella has access to treatments that are truly changing her life.Our girl is now walking fully independently, and while we continue her intensive OT and PT, we’re also able to shift some focus toward developing her speech and feeding skills, goals that once felt so far away.Ella has a busy Spring ahead: a one-week DMI intensive, a one-week feeding intensive, and a trip to Arizona for platelet-rich plasma therapy, all leading up to a two-week intensive at Climb this summer. Every step, every session, every therapy is possible because of the generosity of our supporters.Your support isn’t just funding therapy, it’s giving Ella the freedom, independence, and confidence to reach milestones we once only dreamed of.
