Many of you know my son Marshall Moss. He is the loving father of Monique and Marshall Jr. both of whom he adores. He is the brother of Marie Irvin, Victoria Irvin, Joseph Moss, and Ronnie Moss. Marshall loves music, being outdoors and playing his guitar for pleasure and for his church.
One year ago, Marshall was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. In July of 2010, he was hospitalized and he received a pacemaker to keep his heart beating. His doctors at Scott & White Memorial Hospital have told him that he is now in need of a life-saving heart transplant. Not only is a transplant a major surgical procedure, it is also very expensive. Even with insurance there will be many expenses that must be paid for out of pocket. He will have many co-pays, relocation expenses during the time of transplant and he will be on a lifetime of anti-rejection medications. This is a challenge we cannot meet alone. Your help and support is desperately needed.
A fundraising campaign has been established with HelpHOPELive (HelpHOPELive) in honor of Marshall. HelpHOPELive is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization that has been assisting the transplant community for over twenty-six years. All contributions are administered by HelpHOPELive exclusively for uninsured transplant-related expenses. Donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. Won’t you please consider making a tax deductible contribution to Marshall’s campaign today? It’s never easy to ask for help and now is certainly no exception. Marshall has touched the lives of many and we deeply appreciate the support he has received. At times like this, the assistance of family, friends, and the community is crucial to help ensure a positive outcome. Your prayers and support are greatly appreciated.
On behalf of Marshall and our entire family we thank you for your kindness and generosity.
Sincerely,
Barbara Irvin Marie Irvin
