Daniel received his liver transplant January 22, 2005. Dan celebrated his rebirth yesterday, Sunday, January 22, 2006. It was a year ago Dan received his new liver. He is doing very well, working 40 hours a week 2nd shift. Dan’s kidneys are still not working and goes to Dialysis 3 times a week in the morning. Dan is going to set up an appointment to see about getting on the kidney transplant list.On February 12th Dan and Maggie were married by a Justice of the Peace.On March 15 Dan started the process to get on the list for a kidney transplant. He went thur some testing at University of Pennsylvania Hospital. They told him it would take about 2 weeks to find out if his body will be able to accept a kidney transplant. In August Dan had to go through more testing to make sure his heart would be able to take a transplant operation. The doctors have cleared him and he will be contacting HUP to see if he has been put on the list. Please continue to keep Dan in your prayers.
