It’s hard to put into words the heartache of watching your child face obstacles that most of us will never have to consider. My daughter, Evalynne Stringer, lives with Cerebral Palsy, a diagnosis that the medical world often labels as a “catastrophic illness”. But to me, she is just a little girl who wants to experience the world like everyone else.
Right now, the biggest thing standing in our way is a lack of accessibility. Insurance often covers the basics, but it leaves behind the “luxuries” that are actually lifelines, like a specialized, accessible van and medical equipment that ensures her comfort and safety.
When our GoFundMe didn’t take off, it felt like another door closing. But for Evalynne, we have to keep knocking.
We’ve moved her fundraising to the non-profit Help Hope Live. It’s more than just a donation page; it’s a way to ensure that every cent is protected and used strictly for Evalynne’s medical and mobility needs. Because they are a non-profit, your support is also tax-deductible.
We are so tired of the financial “no’s,” and we just want to get her to a “yes.” Please, if you can find it in your heart to help us pay off her van and cover these mounting uninsured costs, you are giving Evalynne more than just equipment, you are giving her freedom.
Will you help us give Evalynne the wheels she needs?
Thank you so much to everyone who has donated!! We are one step closer to our goal!
