❤️ AJ needs a heart-liver transplant ❤️
She has spent her life helping others through their hardest moments—now she needs the same support to survive hers.
Family and friends of AJ (Alicia Jones) Pittman are raising funds through Help Hope Live, a tax-deductible nonprofit. While we have insurance, your contributions will cover out-of-pocket medical expenses of about $60,000 for medications/treatments, travel, temporary lodging in Nashville, and medical bills related to her heart–liver transplant.
AJ was born with a complex congenital heart condition called Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA). Throughout her life, she has undergone multiple open-heart surgeries, pacemaker procedures, and countless medical interventions. Now she stands at a life-changing crossroads.
What makes AJ extraordinary is not just what she has faced—but how she has lived it.
She has never allowed her heart condition to define or limit her. She has earned two degrees, built a meaningful life, and remained deeply connected and active with her husband, stepsons, sisters, mother, stepfather, and friends. She is vibrant, engaged, and full of life—even amid the understandable uncertainty of what lies ahead.
Professionally, AJ is a psychotherapist and program director who has dedicated her life to supporting individuals and families through their most emotionally difficult moments. Her work has created a powerful ripple effect—strengthening relationships, guiding people through crises, and healing her community in ways that extend far beyond what can be measured.
Now she finds herself on the same uncertain path she has helped so many others navigate.

❤️❤️STATUS 2❤️❤️She has now reached status 2. We hope her wait won't be much longer. The dedicated medical team is doing their best to manage her symptoms. She appreciates the ongoing thoughts, prayers, gifts and donations.

❤️ AJ has now been in the hospital for over two months, waiting for the call that a heart and liver are ready for her. One of the hardest parts is that no one can predict when that call will come. Her medical team watches her closely each day, and while she remains stable, she continues to waiting for the right match.Thank you for continuing to love, encourage, and keep AJ in your thoughts. It means more than you know.

Hi AJ! I wish you well in this journey and I will be waiting for any news that comes through. You have helped many people in SE and EMDR.
