Dear Friends of Dennis Nostrant,
Life is full of the unexpected, and sometimes we find ourselves in situations that we are not prepared to handle alone. After struggling with a variety of symptoms, and several incorrect diagnoses, Dennis was finally informed that he was suffering from end stage liver disease. Having undergone a multitude of tests and procedures, the medical staff at the University of Washington Medical Center have determined that in order to survive and regain his health it is imperative that Dennis receive a liver transplant.
Dennis has been employed by several heavy/highway construction companies throughout his career and has been working within the industry for over 40 years. He has two daughters who occupy the majority of his time; Lola is 19-years-old and is currently attending Washington State University, and Kellie is 14-years-old and is attending Cove Middle School. Dennis enjoys spending time with his family, renovating his 1888 farm house, hunting, fishing, camping, and a variety of other things that have kept him pleasantly busy.
Dennis’s illness has reached the point where it has impeded his everyday life, and therefore has put significant strain on his physical and financial well-being. We have come to the point where we are unable to continue going it alone; we are in need of help. We are reaching out to ask for your prayers and support. A fundraising campaign in Dennis’s honor has been established through HelpHOPELive for his uninsured medical expenses. HelpHOPELive is a nonprofit organization that has provided direct assistance to the transplant community for more than 28 years. For those who are able and would like to contribute to help Dennis:
