Charlie is from Fair Lawn, NJ and works as a service advisor at Wide World Ferrari Maserati.
Diagnosed at age six with cystic fibrosis, his health declined in his twenties. After a long wait, he was able to receive a double lung transplant on March 16, 2011 at New York Columbia Presbyterian Hospital.

Lately, Charlie has experienced some health issues related to this disease. Although Charlie carries an insurance policy, there are aspects of care and recovery (including co-pays, mediation, transport, oxygen and much more) that are not all covered.

Celebrated seven years since the transplant this month! A few months ago, my lung oxygen capacity levels dropped drastically and I was treated several times for overnight monitoring and stays at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. I am very grateful for everyone's support and kindness in my journey of being a Cystic Fibrosis survivor.
