Anthony Olson is raising money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with his kidney transplant. Anthony lives in Clancy, MT and is being treated at Virginia Mason Medical Center.

Anthony has chosen to fundraise with HelpHOPELive in part because HelpHOPELive provides both tax-deductibility and fiscal accountability to his contributors. Contributors can be sure that funds contributed will be used only to pay or reimburse medically-related expenses.

It feels like it has been a long road getting here. First, I would like to thank my Mother, Father, and Sister for their love and support! I couldn't have made it this far without you! I would also like to thank my dear friends, and the many volunteers and donors that helped make my campaign a success.

Many of you know I am a very private person and it is really difficult for me to share the joys and struggles in life.

I received a live donor transplant from my uncle in January of 2006. Thanks Jim! You are incredible! I could have never asked for such a gift! Thanks for all of the doctors, nurses, techs administrators, and staff that touched my life at Virginia Mason! Your care is unmatched anywhere in the World!

The transplant was very successful. It lasted 6 great years. I used this time to get a lot of living done, including, went back to college, regained my independence, even did some traveling.

When my labs began to drop uncontrollably I made another trip to Seattle. Despite the doctor's best efforts to stop the rejection. I started dialysis once more about 6 months later.

The following year I was diagnosed with a blood disease sometimes caused by the medications and treatments used for transplant.

They are able to treat the condition and I am living life the best I know how!
