She is very active in her church, Calvary Hill Church of Greater Deliverance, her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Winston Salem Alumnae, and serves as a Senior Program Director for the YMCANWNC 21st CCLC. August 2015 Update:

We are still here waiting on the liver. A lot has happened during the the last couple of months. I have been called in for a back up 3 times and hospitalized once. I had to come to realization, it is not on my time but God's time. During this time, I want to thank my sister Jonelle. She uprooted her family and moved in with me. She has been with every step. I understand what they mean when they say you have to have a strong supportt system. Make sure you have a good support system.

Hi Bonita

We have been friends since we were kids growing up downtown York. You are in my prayers and I hope that enough is raised so you can get the transplant that you need. I will be making a donation for you. Take care of yourself. Friends forever. Love ya
