Keith Poage is raising money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with his islet cell transplant. Keith lives in Manchester Center, VT and is being treated at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Keith’s goal is to return to work as a snowboard instructor and get his life back. Any help is appreciated. Keith has chosen to fundraise with HelpHOPELive in part because HelpHOPELive provides both tax-deductibility and fiscal accountability to his contributors. Poage, the marathon went well. I finished 11 minutes ahead of the Cincinnati marathon, and was only sore for a week. The surgery will be here in a day or two, hope everything goes well and I will talk to you soon. Stay positive. High High High

We're the parents of Matt Zumbiel, your UK frat buddy and we met you a number of times during your days at UK. Matt told us about your condition and we wanted to send along our best wishes, thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. (Matt said you were getting ready to be treated very soon, if not today.)

Keith, take care of yourself. We pray that you'll make a full recovery and will stay in touch with Matt on your recuperation.

God Bless You, Keith.
