MIKE RAU

Michael has been an insulin-dependent diabetic since his youth. In 2000, Mike was diagnosed with kidney failure. His condition continued to deteriorate and he had to go on dialysis. Thanks to his brother and another donor family, Mike received a new kidney on June 27, 2018. They became the first in South Carolina to team up for a compatible kidney transplant exchange

Michael Rau had his successful kidney transplant on June 27, 2018. The dedication of his brother in providing a kidney and his doctor in arranging a double transplant proves that we all are our brothers keepers. See this website.
