Not only is a transplant major surgery, it is also very expensive. Even with insurance there are many expenses that must be paid for out-of-pocket. Some of these are co-pays, deductibles, and travel to and from the transplant center. Amy will need to live near Mayo Clinic for approximately one month after the transplant. In addition, Amy will be on a lifetime of anti-rejection medications. This is where your help is needed.

A fundraising campaign, in Amy’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive (formerly NTAF). HelpHOPELive is a nonprofit organization that has provided fundraising assistance to the transplant community for nearly 30 years.
