Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you may know, I have been struggling with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) for many years. I was first diagnosed with PKD over 30 years ago. This genetic and life-threatening disorder has already claimed the life of my mother and oldest brother. Today I have less than 18% kidney function and need a new kidney urgently. Otherwise, I’ll have to start dialysis— a process that compromises any future transplant and can shorten my lifespan.

My brother and my wife have both offered to be donors, but were disqualified due to medical reasons. Therefore, I have launched a campaign to help me find a living donor as well as to raise funds to cover transplant and dialysis-related expenses not covered by my insurance. Some of these additional expenses include transportation costs, room and board, and other living donor expenses.
