Family and friends of Doug Slusher are raising money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.

Some of you know Doug from his Army career, some from different motorcycle groups, some from churches he’s attended, others from work, and then there are our families. He is an amazing man—a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He’s served his country in the US Army for 22 years and served at his church in various capacities—he’s a true servant. Now he needs your help.

Doug got a new liver!

Doug got his transplant on August 1, 2010!!! An early birthday present. Currently he is doing well, still a way to go before he's running any races but he's doing very well (according to the doctors). He'll tell you he still feels like cr*p.

Thank you for all the prayers and your contributions--we really appreciate it.
