Vibrant, tenacious and always with a smile ~ you’d never guess that Tiffany Boller needs a heart. As I write this letter on Tiffany’s behalf, I’m amazed at how much she is able to accomplish from day-to-day. Living with a congenital heart defect, Tiffany takes over twenty pills a day just to keep her health balanced and her heart from overworking. Every month she is back and forth to the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania where her body goes through several series of testing to make sure that her fluids are stable and her heart, though severely overworked, is functioning as she awaits her transplant. Despite all the compassionate help provided by the medical community, Tiffany’s heart is depleting high levels of protein to the point where her doctor has advised a heart transplant to survive.
Tiffany has Double Outlet Right Ventricle, a rare heart defect that was present at birth. At age four, her parents took her to Alabama for her first heart surgery. As a result of that surgery her body has been severely weakened and a heart transplant is her only real hope for a future of good health.
Though Tiffany has health insurance, doctors have estimated that her post-transplant annual medical care will exceed $200,000.00. The immunosuppressive drugs, required for all transplant patients, will average over $2,500.00 per month. These medications are taken for a lifetime. Fundraising is essential to the overall success of Tiffany’s outcome.
To help alleviate the financial burden of this procedure and follow-up care, a fundraising campaign in Tiffany’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for 30 years. All donations are tax deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the Mid-Atlantic Heart Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.Tiffany is very blessed with loving and supportive family and friends who help in so many ways. Your contributions are truly appreciated and will help us through this difficult time.
Thank you and God bless,
Sharon Howard

Tiffany I don't know you personally, however, I greet you as a sister-in-Christ. I had a grand-daughter who had a similar disease as yours. So I have an idea of what you are experiencing. I believe that God can work miracles! In the meantime, keep smiling and allowing the Lord to use you as His testimony!
