As many of you know, our mom, Jane Bonham, took a terrible fall back in February which has currently left her paralyzed below the neck. She has come quite a long way and we are eternally grateful! She is receiving excellent care at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, GA, and we are so thankful for the progress she has made and continues to make while at the Shepherd Center. Mom remains hopeful through everything that has happened and we, in large part, attribute that to all the prayers, love and support that you all have shown. For that we express our deepest gratitude and thanks. Her attitude is quite amazing and we often find ourselves in awe at her courage and strength.
Although Mom’s spirit and determination remain intact, the cost of treatments and recovery-based therapies that are not covered by insurance continues to grow every day. We also look ahead to modifications that will need to be made to our parents’ home in South Carolina, the purchase of a motorized wheelchair and possibly a new vehicle. All the medical technology and innovations are incredible, but they come at a price. To help offset these and other uninsured expenses, we, Jane’s children, have come together to establish a fundraising campaign in her honor through Help Hope Live. Help Hope Live is a highly regarded nonprofit that has been providing fundraising support to transplant patients for nearly 35 years. In 2000, Help Hope Live expanded its mission to assist those, like our Mom, who have sustained catastrophic injuries.
Several of you have asked how you might be able to assist our family during this time. If you feel led, we encourage you to make a tax-deductible contribution to Help Hope Live in our Mom’s honor. All contributions are administered by Help Hope Live exclusively for injury-related expenses and will greatly benefit Mom’s road to recovery.

Please understand that we know this is not everyone’s way of helping, nor do we expect everyone to help us in this manner. We appreciate so much the meals, prayers, cards, and words of encouragement. We ask that you continue in your efforts of love and support as they will empower Mom in her journey to a full recovery. We are thankful for each of you and blessed by all that you have done thus far.
With sincere gratitude and thanks,
Jenn and Sean Hyslop, Leslie and Matthew Atkins and Matt and Sarah Morgan Bonham
We are Chelsea Harrell''s parents and she and Todd told us about your terrible accident. It sounds like you''re working very hard to rehabilitate, as you must. You obviously have great strength and devotion and are loved by your family very much. God bless....you are in our thoughts.

Dear Jane and Ben, I keep up with your progress through Jeanne every week. I think of you both, and of course, your fabulous children Matt and Sarah Morgan, every day, and you are always in my prayers. You are both Stars; wonderful, loving, and the epitamy of what real strength and devotion are all about. My donation is in honor of you, but also of Jeanne, whose first thought is always, and I mean ALWAYS - What can I do to help? So, in a small way, I am following her tremendous and beautiful spirit of giving and helping others. Clarissa Lane
