On December 28, 2008, Jen was in a sledding accident in Big Bear where she broke her back. Due to the dislocation of two vertebrae, T10 and T11, her spinal cord was hit and in turn has paralyzed her from the hips down. Her spinal cord thankfully is not severed but rather bruised by the impact. Though damaged, the fact that the spinal cord is still intact shows that there is still hope in Jen walking again.

Will you Help Jen Walk Again?
Monetary donations are greatly needed to pay for additional physical therapy and medical expenses not covered by Jen’s insurance. Jen would like to supplement her insurance approved therapy at Casa Colina with rigorous therapy done at Project Walk, an internationally recognized spinal cord rehabilitation center. Project Walk costs $100 an hour. We cannot give Jen what she needs to walk again without your help and generous monetary donation.
How you can Help Jen Walk Again?
Become a part of Jen’s 100 Angels
Help Jen Walk Again (HJWA) Angels are a supportive group of friends, family and believers dedicated to Help Jen Walk Again by guaranteeing her therapy at Project Walk. Membership into the 100 Angels is $30 a month or $360 per year (just $1 a day). This tax-deductible fee will cover Jen’s minimum expenses at Project Walk ($2,400 per month), but we need 100 Angels to Help Jen Walk Again; 100 Angels to carry her, to help her stand, and to help her fight.
Thanks for your support!
