Dear Family & Friends,
I am writing to solicit your prayers and support for my brother Kevin Bouy. A generous man, skilled chef, husband, father, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend to so many. As you know, Kevin was born with a serious heart condition that has compromised his health through his life. He has always been a fighter, and through much prayers and his positive attitude he has lived a productive life. He has survived multiple surgeries and other medical challenges. Recently his health has plummeted and he has been unable to work and has drastically reduced his daily activities. He was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and chronic kidney failure. Kevin is faced with yet another life medical challenge. He urgently needs a heart and kidney transplant.
Even with insurance, the cost of a transplant is astronomical. There are many uninsured expenses associated with transplantation, such as co pays, anti-rejection medications (taken for a lifetime), expensive testing, and increased doctor visits. During this critical time, the support of his family and friends is vital for Kevin’s recovery. WE NEED YOU!
To help counter this financial burden, a fundraising campaign in Kevin’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for nearly 30 years. All donations are tax deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the Mid-Atlantic Heart/Kidney Transplant Fund, and administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only. Your contributions are needed and greatly appreciated.

Dear Kevin, We only met you once some years ago at Reggie's graduation party. We sensed then you are a man blessed with a wonderful and giving heart so we were grateful to hear your transplant had been done. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you, Yvette and your entire family. God bless,
