Many of you know Wally Trotter. You may know him as the loving husband of Donna, wonderful father of Justin and Jared, grandfather of four and friend to many. Wally loves to spend his time playing with his grandchildren at the lake. What you may not know is that in 2002 Wally was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. His condition has caused a progressive deterioration in his health over time. Wally is now at the point where he needs a life saving heart transplant.
Due to Wally’s health he has been unable to work. Even with health insurance there are many expenses associated with a transplant that must be paid for out of pocket. Some of these costs are co-pays, travel, and a life time of anti-rejection medications that Wally must take. Funding this procedure will be a monumental task that we can not do alone.
To help with this financial burden a fundraising campaign has been established with HelpHOPELive. HelpHOPELive is a non-profit organization that has been helping the transplant community for over 30 years. All contributions are administered by HelpHOPELive exclusively for uninsured transplant related expenses. Won’t you please help Wally in his fight for life by making a tax-deductible contribution in his honor?
Friends and family are planning a series of community events to benefit this cause. We can surely use your time, energy and creativity in any way possible. Please email us with any questions, to volunteer your time or to request further information.
Wally feels very blessed with loving and supportive family and friends who help in so many ways. Your prayers and contributions are truly treasured and will help us through this difficult time.
Thank you and God bless,
Donna, Justin and Jared Trotter
