I’m writing to you about my youngest daughter, Carrie Walker, who has a life-threatening disease and is in dire need of a kidney transplant. She needs your help to make it happen.
Carrie credits her love for the Lord Jesus for sustaining her through this ordeal. She is proud to be Native American and of the Choctaw and Shawnee tribes. She attended John Marshall High School in Oklahoma City and still retains some relationships with her friends from there. She has a large family of siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and two nephews and a niece who she adores. Adding to the family’s stress though is the challenge of Carrie’s sister who is battling her own crisis of breast cancer.
Carrie is sweet and kind and full of life. She loves to spend time with her family, bake chocolate chip cookies and go shopping. She has a passion for animals, especially those that have been abused. Her little Yorkie, ChaChee is her constant companion.
Transplants are life-saving but very expensive. Carrie has been too sick to work and is terribly worried about how to afford this transplant. This is where you can help.
To help offset her uninsured costs, a fundraising campaign in Carrie’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for over 30 years. All contributions are tax deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the South-Central Kidney Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only.
You can help make a difference in Carrie’s life. Please consider making a contribution.Thank you for your prayers and generosity. Your gift will help my beloved daughter get a second chance at life.
Sincerely,
Susan Zotigh (Carrie’s mother)
