Dear Friends and Family,
I am writing you this letter on behalf of my husband, Randy Weber, and our entire family. Three years ago Randy suffered a massive heart attack. He needed a complete re-graft of his heart, but due to the damage the heart already sustained, the surgeons were only able to perform a double bypass. Randy was left with only 15 to 20 percent of normal heart capacity. At this point, his only chance for survival is a heart transplant.
Randy and our family have been very blessed for the last three years, as his health remained stable and life returned to almost normal. However, now that a transplant is inevitable, we are counting on our family, friends and community more then ever. Randy is a son, a loving husband, a dedicated father to three beautiful daughters, a proud grandfather to four very intelligent grandsons, and an uncle to many nieces and nephews. Without Randy all of our worlds would fall apart. Now he needs your help and we are therefore reaching out to you at this time.
Even with insurance, Randy faces many uninsured transplant-related expenses. The costs of pre- and post-transplant medications and doctors’ co-pays are staggering, and will remain costly for the rest of Randy’s life. It is critical at a time like this to have both emotional and financial support of friends and family to ensure a successful recovery. We need your help!
