His attitude is wonderful and has a great outlook on life. He is 44 years old and is struggling to remain alive to watch his nieces and nephew grow to adulthood. He is a wonderful son and has been helping me through a particularly difficult time. Now it is my turn to help Mitch.
For over a year now, Mitch has been unable to work due to his declining health. Even though Mitch does have medical insurance there are many expenses that are not covered and must be paid out of pocket. Some of these expenses are cobra payments, co-pays, premiums, and medications. Mitch will also be on a life time of anti–rejection medication once he receives his transplant. This is where we need your help.
A fundraising campaign in Mitchell’s honor has been established through HelpHOPELive (HelpHOPELive). HelpHOPELive is a nonprofit organization that has been assisting transplant community for over 26 years. All contributions are tax-deductible and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant related expenses only. For those of you who are able and would like to make a contribution:We can use your time, energy and creativity in any and every way. If you would like to plan an event to benefit this cause please contact me.
Thank you for your consideration in our desperate attempt to give Mitch a second chance at life. Mitch and I thank you for your generosity, support and prayers.

It is now 5 years post transplant of both Mitch’s heart and kidney. We count our blessings every day for his good health.
Mitch received his heart on 9/11/18-the yartzeit of his grandmother-Rose Friedman=and his kidney on 9/12/18. He is in ICU at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Fl and will remain there for about a week.
Mitch had been doing so well that he was taken off the transplant list for a few years. Unfortunately, it did not last and he has been placed back on the list. We are hopeful that we will not have to wait years until a match for his heart and kidney are found.
We just had the first fundraiser-at O'Malley's Sports Bar in Margate, Fl. It was several bands that volunteered their time to play. Raffles ware also held the same night. Thank you to all who gave their time and who attended. It was a resounding success.
A cruise for Jan. 2018 has been planned and we hope many of Mitch's friends and family will attend. For more info, contact Mitch at 516 749 0198 or Marsha at 954 720 7235.
