Dear Friends and Family,

Many of you know a man very special to us, Tim Wiltrek. Tim is a loving husband and terrific father. Six years ago Tim was diagnosed with Lupus which caused his kidneys to shut down. Since then Tim has been on dialysis, three days every week for five hours at a time. This is what is keeping him alive.
Tim’s doctors at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center have told us that his only option now is a life-saving kidney transplant.

Due to the extraordinary expense of a kidney transplant, funding this life-saving surgery becomes a monumental task. There are many expenses that will not be covered by insurance and must be paid for out of pocket. Some of these expenses are co-pays, deductibles, and travel to and from the transplant center, In addition we will have relocation expenses at time of transplant and Tim will be on a life-time of anti-rejection medications. This puts us up against a challenge that we can not meet alone and desperately need your help.
