Family and friends of Janet Yeager are raising money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
Janet has chosen to fundraise with HelpHOPELive – The Leader in Fundraising Assistance and Support for Transplant and Catastrophic Injury in part because HelpHOPELive provides both tax-deductibility and fiscal accountability to contributors. Contributors can be sure that funds contributed will be used only to pay or reimburse medically-related expenses. For more information, please contact HelpHOPELive at 800-642-8399.

Hi. It’s been a while since I posted to my account. It’s been 4 years since my transplant. I have been doing ok. For a while I didn’t need any oxygen. Unfortunately I became ill in July 2014 and needs to go back on it. Bummer! It seems that every time I thought I was getting better, I came down with something else. I even had a gall bladder attack at the end of February 2015 and had to have it removed. It was killing itself and was gangrenous. I have been in and out of the hospital since July 2014, and so have had more medical expenses. That doesn’t even take into consideration hotel bills for follow-up visits. Since my husband and I are both on disability, it is hard to keep up with the bills. If you are able to help us financially, it would be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to help financially, that’s ok, we would appreciate your emotional support and prayers. Please pray for all transplant patients and their donor families. We appreciate any kind of support. Thank you, Janet
