Hi Tiffany, I am saying a lot of prayers for you to have a very successful recovery. I so pray that the transplant helps you. I have a son that is now 14 years old & he has 65 Roses as we have always called Cystic Fibrosis. We are also natives to AZ from S Scottsdale to now we are in E Mesa. We know what you have to go through & also feeling alone because never hear any one else talk about it well he does a lot of times as he is very energetic seems like he is normal until the weather does like it has lately & he gets wiped easily then he gets upset . I heard about you from Dave Pratt on his FB your story is an inspiration for us. Your accomplishments are great & your photos are beautiful. I am so happy that you were able to get the transplant even though our state cut them. Prayers for a long happy future for you.

Hi Tiffany,
I'm so sorry about the Az Medicaid rules not covering transplants. We have a small all volunteer organization called Freeze the Disease Foundation (in LA) and raises money and awareness to aid those with cystic fibrosis. I contacted the webmaster seeking more information about you and your current condition (which I know is not good being on the transplant list since April). Please have someone contact us a soon as possible.
Hang in there!
Warmest regards,
Stuart McDougal

Hi Tiffany, i saw your story at work i work for msnbc and i was very motivated to donate to you mostly because i could very easily be in your position. I am 31 and I have cystic fibrosis i consider myself lucky because through alternative medicines (acupuncture) combined with a very open minded pulmonologist i have increased my lung function to 75 percent. So there is hope, people with our condition do survive and don't ever give up. You will make it. I do hope you get your transplant and you will remain in my thoughts.

Dear Tiffany - I heard your story on Countdown and was really annoyed at what AZ had done to you. This is what happens when you elect heartless politicians and lagislators to run a state. I wish you the best of luck and hope you receive your transplant soon. God Bless.

Hello Miss Tiffany,
We saw your story on Countdown. We went through a period after my hubby was diagnosed with MS that we had no insurance. But through the generosity of an organization in the next city, we could get health care and it was paid for by that group of people, which included the doctors in the surrounding area.
Chin up kiddo...you're going to get through this.

....and a PS in thanks to Keith Olbermann for hosting you on his show and giving you the opportunity to share your story, and allow me to do my very small part in helping you continue your fight.

Your courage in the face of this horrific disease is inspiring. One of my best childhood friends, Jennifer Purvis, died of Cystic Fibrosis a month shy of her 13th birthday. She was dreadfully ill her whole life, spending a large percentage of her time with a body-wracking cough. She, too, tried to play basketball with us, but without much success. She was quite frail and would run the length of the court on willpower alone, and then hack herself lightheaded before coming back out to the bench. Hearing your story brought back many memories, along with the fantasy of what it would have been like to have had Jennifer make it with us through high school, and having played with us on our team. I'm utterly disgusted with Jan Brewer and the State of Arizona for denying you the care that you need, and you deserve, to not only live your life to the fullest, but to inspire other kids out there with this illness to continue fighting, and to rise above it when they can to lead the life that you have been able to live. If I said prayers, you would be in them, but please know that you are certainly in my heart.

I'm sorry I can't contribute more but I'm fighting my own health/financial problems. We have to stick together, right? I wish you the best of luck and a quick transplant and you can credit Keith Olbermann with letting the country know what BS is STILL going on in Arizona.

My husband and I condemn the politicians who put their interests ahead of human life. We are honored to contribute to your future well being and hope that others will do the same. Maybe this campaign will serve to let the government know that helping others is the right thing to do! Stay strong!

I Just saw you on Keith's show tonight. What has been done to you and the other so deserving people by these selfish, evil idiots now running the state of Arizona is nothing short of anti-American and insane. You have led such a brave life and now to be dealt this unbelievable slap in the face is something I could not believe would ever happen in this country in my 61 years. I just donated to your fund, as I did to the other 2 families Keith had on his show. I just wish I could afford to give more! Hang in there!!

Dear Tiffany, I heard your story on the radio driving home from work and it made my heart break for all the people who are affected by the heartless cutbacks to necessary medical care. My husband is alive today due to a liver transplant he recieved 5 years ago and we were fortunate that he had really good insurance through his employer. Our prayers are with you and our donation is on its way. I look forward to hearing good news and the successful outcome of your lung transplant.

Story
I am donating for two reasons. First my little sister had a pancreas/kidney transplant about 11 years ago. We had to raise the money for the pancreas part due to it being too new of a transplant. I recall how hard it was. Second is for my daughter Christina. I am taking the money out of her life insurance money she left me when she died. It was not an accident. She choose to go to her eternal sleep herself. However, she wanted to be a donor. Due to the fact chemicals were involved, they turned her down. She was only allowed to donate her beautiful long spiral curled auburn hair to Locks of Love. I know she would have given to Tiffany. She would have cried (as I am doing) while she was "hooking up" to donate to her. I feel it is not me donating but Christina. Tiffany, you are loved. God bless and keep you and yours, Marilyn Bullard
