I’ve recently began a fundraising campaign with HelpHOPELive to help cover some of my uninsured injury-related expenses. HelpHOPELive is a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for more than 30 years. In 2000, they expanded their mission to include those who have sustained a catastrophic injury. All donations are tax-deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the Southwest Spinal Cord Injury Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for injury-related expenses only.
Your donations will go directly to a fundraising campaign in my honor and will help pay for such things as medical equipment and physical therapy that I otherwise would not be able to afford. With your support of a donation in any amount, I will be able to receive advanced physical therapy at Project Walk in San Diego — one of the top physical therapy facilities in the nation.
Remember, any donation will help to get me back on my feet once again.
Thank you,
Corey Towne
Any donations will be used to purchase medical needed items that are not covered by Medi-cal. Also for therapy at Project Walk in Carlsbad. We are also hoping to raise funds for an Exercise machine that Corey can work out on by himself without transferring out of his chair. That machine costs about $4500. if we raise about $70,000 :)!, we can get a ReWalk robotic suit which allows paras to walk again! Anyway, if you can help with cash, love, prayers or contact, all is appreciated and needed! It's been a tough road, the last 12 years. But as always, I stay optimistic and hopeful:) Thanks friends for your support x Julie (Corey's Mom)
Happy New Year! 2014
