Three years ago, I was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Failure and was told that I in need a lifesaving kidney transplant. After fighting this disease for so many years, receiving a kidney transplant is my only chance of survival.

I was a pre-school teacher for 16 years, but could not continue to teach because of my health related issues. Currently, my life consists of going to church, walking my dog “Lucky” and going to dialysis. I really enjoy helping the people in my community and being a part of the growth of it. After I receive my transplant, I mostly look forward to living a regular life again, and helping others facing the same battles that I now face.

We can do this Jannie! While I love our weekly rides from dialysis with great conversation, I hate that you are going through this. Hugs!
