Deb Brock is a courageous woman who is in chronic renal failure after battling insulin-dependent diabetes for more than 30 years. Deb is on dialysis seven days a week and has been told that she is in desperate need of a life-saving kidney transplant.
Deb is the loving wife of Charlie Brock, mother of Cymantha Aguirre, Amy Brock and Cora Jordan, sister of Becka Mata, Doug Alvarez and Victoria Alvarez. Deb is a fun grandmother to six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a good friend to many. Since Deb retired from Meijers Inc after 32 years, she has continued to maintain her home and helps on their farm. To her family, Deb’s determination and fight for life is inspiring.

On August 11 I celebrated my two year anniversary with my new kidney. I am blessed each and every day. Amy and I are bonded forever.

Deb received a healthy kidney from a family friend on August 11, 2014. Deb and her donor were both released from the hospital in less than a week.
