Jimmy is in urgent need of a kidney transplant. He needs your help to make it happen.
Jimmy has been on dialysis for more than eleven years and has been in and out of hospitals most of his life. Both his kidneys were removed in 2007. Due to infections, the port has been moved and changed many times leaving scars all over his body. His veins are almost nonexistent, making a blood draw extremely hard, mostly 2 to 3 tries. Doctors have told Jimmy there is no other place to put the port and the only chance he has is to get a kidney transplant as soon as possible.
Funding this life saving procedure is a monumental task. There will be medical expenses not covered by insurance such as copays, anti-rejection medications Jimmy will need to take for the rest of his life, and travel expenses before and after the procedure. This is a challenge Jimmy cannot face alone.
To help with the financial burden of Jimmy’s uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in his honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the Great Lakes Kidney Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only. Please, consider an end-of-year tax deductible contribution.

Your support is critical to the success of Jimmy’s struggle to live. Please know that your contribution counts. On behalf of Jimmy and his family, we thank you in advance for your kind consideration.
With sincere gratitude,
Ginny Drawl (Jimmy’s aunt)
