I am writing on behalf of my loving husband, Rodney Blair. He is a caring, tender-hearted husband, father and grandfather who has endured many medical issues. Rodney has battled diabetes since 2000, and has end-stage renal disease which caused the loss of his eye sight, a weakening heart, as well as a partially paralyzed digestive system. Seven years of dialysis treatments, first at home and then in the clinic have taken their toll on Rodney’s body. A kidney transplant is necessary to keep him healthy and strong and he is currently on the active transplant waiting list at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, IN.
Despite what life has handed him, he remains full of love, laughter and wisdom, finding great joy in playing with his energetic grandson. I have watched Rodney go from a devoted hard worker to becoming physically challenged.
Transplants are life-saving but very expensive. Though Rodney’s insurance will pay for the surgery, he will have many uninsured transplant-related expenses such as: co-pays and deductibles, travel and temporary relocation housing to be near the transplant center and the costly anti-rejection medications that he will need to take for the rest of his life (approximately $2000 a month). We also hope to raise money to purchase a motorized personal vehicle to allow Rodney greater mobility.
To help with this financial burden, a fundraising campaign in Rodney’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the Great Lakes Kidney Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only. You can make a tax-deductible donation today by simply clicking the DONATE NOW button.
Thank you for your support and generosity,
Rachel Blair

Our Other Service Dog Passed on Nov.16th Some of you knew her as Roxanne.. This is Our next one . She is 2 and Has started her training..At This point She is a Therapy Dog until She has Training. She was adopted to our Family 2/26/2016
This is a bit older video but it does show alot of information on him .. Help support the Fight to Stay Strong!! Thank You
Our Dog Roxanne Has Bone Cancer , She has been fighting it for over a month .. My wife took her to her Vet a few days ago and we had bad news .. Its Worse. So we Called a Service Dog place today to ask about a cost ... yep was told $8500.00 .For Picking up Items I drop, walking along side my chair, and mobility assistance .. Have to keep calling .. never be able to come up with that due to our lack of Fundraising We have had ... The last one we spent more then we made. HelpHopeLive Money could help with this as well do to it being a medical need .. But $90.00 Just Dont Cut it.. Yet another Item Beside the New Item of My back Issue, Tens Unit in turn is $150.00 Insurance denied to pay for, we now have to either go without or become inventive to buy.. These are examples on why its important to do the fundraising.. Insurance dont cover everything and either go without food, utilities, medication, gas or something else to either get it or do or cant get it at all...This struggle is very real and Happen quite often.. We just dont tell everyone about it.. But its time for you to see some of the real struggle too... I have been denied coverage for medication for my bones that could had helped to keep them stronger longer but going without has sped up the process.. Still the insurance denies. They sit behind a desk, While I sit and wait. My wife Cant lift me forever.. Her back is suffering, due to it. What made me determined to stand and walk where I could again to help her . there are days/times she still has to help. Not to mention the cost of a Wheelchair vehicle so she is not lifting my chair every time We have to go somewhere .(groceries ect.) We need your help to Get out the word and Donate or do Fundraisers.. Without her doing all the work to complete exhaustion.. Jump in and be active..

Rodney has done something the doctors said he wouldn't do again! He is walking! He uses a walker for extra support and guidance. He is walking a little more everyday and getting stronger against all odds. He just enjoys proving the doctors wrong.
