My name is Lynne’ Griffin, a fifty-year old mom of four beautiful children and a grandma of three amazing grand-babies. Along with my husband, they are my life. But all was thrown into upheaval when my kidneys “crashed” in April of 2014. Tests showed that they were only functioning at 7 percent! Doctors have told me my only hope for survival is a kidney transplant but the cost is overwhelming.

My husband and I still have two of our children living at home with us. He and I are self-employed; I do the financial side of things while my sweet hubby manufactures the product to be sold. Unfortunately, my deteriorating health makes it difficult to help as much as I used to and dialysis three days a week takes its toll.

One of the greatest men and a daddy to all has lost his battle to cancer. My husbands dad (my daddy) died with his children and wife around him. Our hearts are crushed. Please keep us in your prayers as we try to mourne yet another great loss.

Family and friends have suffered the loss of a great lady, my grandmother, Audrey Grace Whitney. She was a special person who touched many lives, mine included, and she will be deeply missed. During this time, I have been humbled by the outpouring of thoughtfulness and kindness of relatives who have asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to my campaign. I am trying to raise the funds to cover the many uninsured transplant-related expenses not covered by insurance. I want to express my sincere gratitude in advance for your prayers, support and contributions made in my grandmother's memory. Lynne'
