Hi, I’m Amy Becker and I’m the proud mom of two teenage boys, C.J. and Evan. In May of 2014 I had an accidental fall down the stairs at my house and fractured my neck in four places. I now live with quadriplegia and I am paralyzed from the chest down and my hands are paralyzed but I can still use them in many ways. I do not let that define me!

I spent my first year after my injury in a nursing home facility, then two years in an apartment, and now rent a lovely house with my boys. I did have a 1995 wheelchair van in which people could drive me to doctors’ appointments, errands, social events, and exercise therapy. Unfortunately, the van is no longer running or able to be fixed. It’s very important for me to get active again!

Good Luck with your Goal Amy! You were such an inspiration to Ashlynne and I when we would drive you to church. Keep the faith. I know you can make your goals happen. You have come so far since we first met you. So proud of how you have persevered.
